ORTIE / One team, several workplaces
A care home with several areas, a workshop with departments or a team moving between workplaces: each place has its own needs.
RECOGNISABLE PRESSURE
The team works in several places, but a generic list does not show what is needed here today. Colleagues review items for another area while their own routine is missing. More lists only help if the structure is clear.
Supervisors configure the structure around the location: which workplaces exist, what happens there and when? Separate checklists make routines recognisable. Employees use the list for their workplace and shift.
AN ILLUSTRATIVE WORKING DAY
Add the workplaces the location actually uses, such as two areas or separate departments.
Create suitable checklists with selected days, shifts and times. A weekly round can sit alongside a daily checklist.
Employees complete the appropriate checklist. Open items can receive follow-up work; the next colleague sees the handover with context attached.
THE PRACTICAL VALUE
The checklist matches the work that needs doing here.
Supervisors maintain routines as workplaces and ways of working change.
Different routines stay accessible through the same app.
MAKE THE VALUE TANGIBLE
Start with two workplaces with different routines. Can employees find the right checklist? Have irrelevant checks been removed, and can the next colleague identify where an open action came from?
What to assess in a pilotUse Ortie for tasks, work routines and communication between colleagues. Client records, medical reports and sensitive customer or HR information belong in the appropriate systems. Private To-do is for work actions too, not records.

Yes. A location can have several workplaces and checklists, using selected days and custom shifts.
No. A workplace sits inside a location. A separate location needs appropriately configured access and routines.
No. Access follows the configured organisation, role and location. Arrange cross-location collaboration intentionally rather than sharing everything automatically.
