For your team

ORTIE / Staffing agencies & flexible teams

New colleague. A familiar way of working.

Help permanent and temporary colleagues work from the same handovers, tasks and agreements.

RECOGNISABLE PRESSURE

The work continues. The overview gets scattered.

A temporary colleague starts at a workplace familiar to the permanent team. Which checks apply? Where is the previous handover? Which work chat should they join? Separate explanations and new groups take time when the colleague needs to get to work.

Why Ortie fits here

Staffing agencies and flexible teams face changing staff and frequent coordination too. Ortie provides shared routines at the place where someone works. An agency can also use it for its own internal tasks and communication.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE WORKING DAY

From the first check to the next colleague.

  1. Before the first shift

The workplace supervisor invites the colleague with an appropriate role and access period, within that organisation and location.

  2. During the placement

Use the same handovers and checks as the team. Questions stay with the task; other discussions go to the appropriate group.

  3. When leaving

Manage or end access. Make open work visible and agree what the team will take over. Keep shared handovers separate from private actions.

THE PRACTICAL VALUE

What becomes easier in the working day?

Temporary colleagues know where to start

Use the location’s handover, tasks and agreements. Permanent staff need not pass every practical detail on again through separate messages.

Access fits the assignment

The relevant supervisor selects location, role and access duration. Colleagues join the team where they actually work.

The routine stays with the workplace

Work routines and open actions remain with the team when an assignment ends. An agency can also use Ortie for its own internal teamwork.

MAKE THE VALUE TANGIBLE

Measure it in your own workplace.

During a pilot, assess how much separate explanation a new colleague needs, whether unfinished work stays clear after staff changes and whether access arrangements fit. Include a real temporary colleague.

What to assess in a pilot

Information that belongs with the teamwork

Ortie does not handle recruitment, payroll or staff scheduling. Agency employees do not automatically get access to client organisations; the relevant organisation controls access.

Privacy and data

BEFORE YOU START

Good questions. Clear answers.

Can the agency see all client locations?

No. Using Ortie does not automatically give an agency access to client information. Access needs to be appropriately configured within the relevant organisation.

Does temporary staff need to build its own routine?

No. The supervisor configures location checklists. An invited colleague uses the routines that apply there.

Can we use it only inside our own agency?

Yes. Internal actions, team agreements and conversations can be configured for your own agency team.

START WITH YOUR WORK

Does this sound like your working day?

Start with one team and a routine that now causes uncertainty. Discuss the setup before deciding to expand.
